Since 2010, Indra’s Grace has been serving Weatherford, Texas with over 200 students that join weekly. We are a conscious community committed to spreading the teachings of traditional Yoga. We are committed to the evolution and flowering of all beings. Thanksgiving 2017 we expanded into our second location - Indra's Grace Fort Worth. Our mission is to offer integrative, well-rounded, and expanded practices from many Yogic traditions to support our students and contribute to raising human consciousness.
We are passionate about sharing Yoga in a very traditional way which includes weaving in dharma, pranayama, meditation, asana, and mindfulness into each of our classes. Our goal is to empower students with tools for self-care, self-healing, self-management, and awakening. If you are a seeker looking for connection and finding deeper meaning beyond achievements, desires, trials, and sorrows, the stuff of daily life, Yoga practice can be a pathway towards lasting equanimity and peace. Whether you've begun to discover the insights that arise with the practice of Yoga and you want to go further, or you want to move beyond the old narratives that no longer serve you, Indra's Grace provides the scaffolding for growth from beginner to advanced yogi. Yoga, when practiced regularly, can be life-changing in positive ways.
Our mission is to offer a space for anyone regardless of age, race, religious background, and level of practice to feel welcome. We love creating an inviting atmosphere that is inclusive of students of all ages and levels of practice. We are the first studio in Fort Worth that offers traditional Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow, Vinyasa, Restorative, Kundalini, Senior, and coming soon Chair Yoga. We strive to honor that there is a Yoga for everybody and every body. Whether you are young or old, experienced or a total beginner, we have a Yoga for you. From your first class until the day, perhaps, that you decide to join our teacher training program, we are here to serve the needs of our students and the yoga community at large.
Our teachers are highly educated and trained to offer you the highest quality of Yoga for stress reduction, ease of mobility, strength, flexibility, and spiritual awakening. Most of our teachers have over 500 hours of Yoga education. Our studio leader Sandra Vanatko is a IAYT certified Yoga therapist with over 10,000 teaching hours. We are a registered Yoga school through Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour and advanced 300-hour level. We offer Yoga teacher training that is certified and popular for those seeking Yoga as a lifestyle, not just an exercise program.
Come join us! We truly have something for everyone and look forward to serving the Fort Worth population. Indra's Grace is an invitation for you to realize your capacity for growth and development. Won't you come join us?
We welcome you to our studios in both Weatherford and Fort Worth. We welcome you to our Yoga family.
Indra’s Grace is named after Sandra’s mother Jindra, who lost her three year battle to breast cancer in 1999. Sandra dropped the J which left Indra. Indra is a Sanskrit name for God. The one word everyone always used to describe Jindra was “graceful.” Sandra decided to name the studio in her mothers honor. Indra’s Grace means God’s Grace, God’s Blessing, Mothers Blessing, or Mothers Grace. Inspired and motivated by her mother and in search for answers on how to stay healthy Sandra researched movement therapies, nutrition, mindfulness, spiritual practice, and the importance of “satsang” community. Indra’s Grace is this offering.
Indra’s Grace offers both group and private Yoga classes, massage therapy, John Of God crystal bed healing sessions, and personal healing sessions. We hope you will come join us and find what you need to support your healing journey.
Sandra thanks all that have been instrumental in the opening and growth of the studio. First and foremost she thanks her creator God. Second, her mother for her inspiration, third her teacher Shashi Pottathil for helping awaken her spiritual nature and her path, fourth her father for giving her the courage to open Indra’s Grace, and fifth all the students and community of Indra’s Grace. Without them there would be no Indra’s Grace. It is an honor and a blessing to serve the Fort Worth community.
