Dr. Tiffany Denny is the founder of 3Tree Yoga. "I am a yoga teacher and physical therapist with a passion for exploring anatomy, physiology, and movement, and the ways in which science intersects with yoga practice."

1. When planning a yoga class or workshop, I look for sequence and theme inspiration...

In my own asana and meditation practice, in my reading, in nature and physics, in music, from other awesome, inspirational teachers, and from whatever is happening in the world or my community at the time. Oh, and from nerdy shows and movies. A lot from nerdy shows and movies.

2. My absolute favorite thing about being a yoga teacher is…

Getting to witness the goodness that exists within humanity. I get to see so much goodness as a yoga teacher, and that is gold to me.

3. The most memorable yoga class/workshop/training/retreat I’ve taught…

Embody Love Movement Facilitator Training — it was something that really pushed me, yet the work has been so impactful in my life that I will do whatever it takes to be a part of sharing that work with others.

4. Top three people, places or things that I am personally inspired by are…

Contact with nature, horses, and heroic or unbelievable animal stories (I can regularly be found crying at my computer because so many of my friends post inspirational animal videos)

5. My all-time favorite book, blog or quote of inspiration is…

“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.” —Albus Dumbledore (and I think this covers both quote and book)

6. My close friends and family would describe me with these three words:

        Stubborn, Untidy, Adventurous

7. I always find bliss…

On a road trip or on a horse

8. As a yoga teacher, I never leave home without…

Chapstick and sunglasses — I don’t think those are specific to being a yoga teacher, but there you have it.

9. Something people may find surprising about me is…

I started college as a flute performance major, then almost went into the intelligence field before I found physical therapy

10. My idea of an adventure is…

Backpacking, whitewater rafting, climbing things, riding horses, road trips, and traveling to far away places

11. My idea of the perfect day is…

A warm day outdoors adventuring, playing volleyball, or playing in the ocean
