A “Hip” Summer Practice

In yoga, the element of water is considered not only cooling, but key for steady, balanced expression, and thus, for cultivating harmonious connection with others. In the body, our hips are the seat of the water element, so hip-centered poses allow us to work with the element in asana practice.
In Texas, summer is full of fire element, so in this workshop, we will seek to balance out the fire with a little water, and to help the process, will stay on the ground! The sequence will balance effort with ease, so that you will leave with happy hips and a spring in your step.
