Meditate -- Benefiting Texas Holistic Emergency Relief

Join us for Saturday night meditation with Kasey, where we will take time to gently stretch and move to prepare our bodies to sit before guided meditation, then finish with a lovely savasana.

There is no set fee for this class. We will be accepting donations, either monetary (cash, check, or card) or in-kind, for Texas HER. Read more about our non-profit and the in-kind donations they need below.

About Texas HER:

Texas HER (Holistic Emergency Relief) serves nearly 1,000 families in the DFW area through the Crunchy Fund. The Crunchy Fund was originally inspired by a group of women contributing $20 here and there to pay for an emergency lip and tongue tie revision. After that more and more women were turning up in crisis, these ranged from health related to bills and the absolute dire evictions. The need was evident, and the fund was created in 2013.

Over the following two years the fund has evolved significantly. In February 2015, the fund fully incorporated as 501c3 Non Profit, Texas Holistic Emergency Relief (Texas HER). The Crunchy Fund remains part of the organization, but only as a single facet. Also under the Texas HER umbrella of programs is Spreading Warmth and Love (providing crucial materials to the homeless population of DFW).

3Tree Yoga will be accepting monetary donations in any amount to be contributed to The Crunchy Fund as well as beef jerky and protein bars to be included in homeless summer bags for Spreading Warmth and Love.
